World Information: Q is from a futuristic post-scarcity society of humans and other star-exploring species that work together for the betterment for all begins. She grew up on an alternative version of Earth, where space exploration is commonplace, and humans live symbiotically with other living begins. Character Background: She is the C.M.O (Chief Medical Officer) on the Star Ship Margulis (named for Lynn Margulis, an American evolutionary theorist, biologist, science author, educator, and science popularizer, and was the primary modern proponent for the significance of symbiosis in evolution. ) Q (as her friends call her) is curious of her suroundings, a natural wiz at playing the autoharp, and feels like she has a greater purpose in the universe. As a young woman, she spent most of her time studying the medical journals and teaching of her mother (Janet Khan, a phytologist) and was in love with nature of her home planet of Earth. She often looked up at the sky at night and wondered how other life out there existed, and that desire fueled her passion to become a scientist and pursue a career like her father ( a Star Ship Captain and war veteran)to wonder among the stars, seeking new life and cultures to discover. While onboard her first maiden voyage, a strange anomaly in the Sigma Quadrant brought her vessel to explore this strange phenomenon. As the ship neared the shimmering tear in space, a smaller wormhole materialized on the ship's bridge, and with a flash of crimson particles, Q vanished from sight and was transported to the realm of Infinitas.

While I suspect the powers (empath/premonition) are going to difficult to play, I do not believe there is anything with the character to prevent its approval.

Thanks for the approval/ review. I'm willing to give it a go. I decided being empathic so my character can find ways to communicate or understand non-verbal characters

To clarify my abilities, I am posting this exert from the Star Trek Fandom Wiki on Deanna Troi (a half-Betazoid), which is the basis of my character's powers: "As a half-Betazoid, Troi was capable of extra-sensory empathy, but was incapable of reading aliens with brain structures dissimilar to Humans and other Betazoids, such as the Breen and the Ferengi. Like most Betazoids, Troi had telepathic abilities. Due to her half-Human heritage, however, the range of her telepathic abilities was limited compared to full-blooded Betazoids, and she could usually only read the thoughts of other Betazoids, most notably her mother. Troi's empathic skills made her an important asset to the Enterprise-D and her abilities were often particularly useful when dealing with hostile races. Since she could usually determine, through use of her abilities, whether others were lying, she repeatedly proved herself invaluable in many suspenseful situations."

So if a character wishes not to let me use my emphatic ability, we can just RP as their brain/mind structure too complex for me to be able to sense. :)
