Description
- Height & Weight: 5ft 9 inches tall. His wingspan is 14ft from wingtip to wingtip. He weighs about 400 pounds.

- Usual Clothing: Recon does not wear clothing, as the fabric can easily get caught in joints or other places it doesn't belong.
- Voice: His normal voice is somewhat squeaky.
- Usual Scent: Recon tends to smell of where ever he's been, he himself dose not have a special scent of his own.
Recon stands 5ft 9 inches resting on his talons. Recon is painted almost entirely jet-black with a extremely dull finish. His wingset is 14ft from tip to tip when fully extended. The wings are made of interleaving plates that give the surface a feathered look. On the inside edges of those wings are short but skinny flaps that run the inner edge of the wingset. His head is slightly small for the body, and surprisingly not humanized like the rest of his design. It looks more natrual looking up at the ceiling then tilted down to look at something. His head has a feather shaped antenna that sticks off the left side of his head, like an out of place feather. His feet are large and have three talons each, two front talons and one back. His hands are the same as well, only having two frontal digits. The tips of his fingers end in a curved silver talon. The talons are blade like. The edges of which can retract inwards to not cut things to shreds.His arms and his beak are painted a dull yellow. The beak lacks ability to form facial expressions.
History
Recon was manufactured by Polar Star International. A company that manufactures aerospace robots. He shares the same frame and platform as his older brother, "Meteorologist Falcon". While his brother was manufactured specifically for weather control, Recon was made for more general purpose mapping work. Recon was never sold by the company but rather leased to specific jobs. The jobs Recon served ranged from city planning to scanning over the ocean for metal deposits.
After two years of service to the company the TSA bought him out. He was given software that allowed him to preform an MRI scan using the sensors in his eyes. He stayed hidden from the public during airport duty. If something looked suspecting on a simple x-ray it was sent to the back for him to deep scan. During this time, he also did mapping jobs while not needed. During other bits of spare time, he would host 'internet parties' in which a group of reploids would gather in a back room of sorts and all join into a netnavi session. His radio worked good for grabbing those distant internet connections and still having enough bandwidth to keep everyone in cyber space.
As the world began to become ravaged by war Recon was handed off into the military. Recon himself was never on front line duty. His systems where not made to be used in combat, and retrofitting would be too expansive. Instead he stayed behind the lines, to relay information from the fronts to a command center. Due to the excessive amount of high energy weapon fire and other technologies that had the power to generate enough energy to bend space-time the very fabric of space-time became 'loose' during this period.
Just because Recon did radio work, does not mean that he was not exposed to fighting during the war, quite the contrary in fact... At times electronic warfare could be more brutal then the fighting on the ground. Recon was on the front line, in that retrospect. He was exposed to everything from E.M.P, to viruses and attempts at hacking.

Special Abilities
Enhanced Perception
- There are several ways that Recon perceives things others don't.
- His eyes are enhanced. They see small details human eyes don't. They are able to see light outside the visible spectrum. They are also able to capture magnetic images via the hall effect. He can also zoom in on things to see them up close from far away.
- He has an internal radio that can be used to detect the location of other radio signals. The degree of accuracy increases the longer a particular signal is present. His internal radio can also function as a radar. His internal radio can also be used as a standard radio, or wireless network device.
- He has a high end spatial processing unit, and a secondary processing core. He is able to process complex sensory input without placing a heavy burden on his mind. He is also able to pick out small details that would go unnoticed.
- Limitations:
- Generally, each sensory device can only do one thing at a time.
- Quick changes in the sensory environment can disorient him. (e.g a quick flash of light in a dark room, or a loud explosion in a library)
- Strong electromagnetic or electrostatic pulses can blind the integrated radio for a bit.
- He can loose track of something if he is zoomed and something causes him to move. The higher the zoom, the more the effect is magnified. At high zooms, He is easily thrown off by mere vibrations.
E-warrior
- Recon is skilled in both hacking radio protocols, and generating strong E.M.I with it as well. He also has techniques for protecting himself from those types of attacks.
- Can emit a scrambling signal, which will cause electronics to malfunction.
- Can capture radio transmissions. With time, the captured signal can be decrypted if encryption is present.
- Can resist scrambling signals while air born. Immunity is granted while touching the ground, as his armor acts as a Faraday cadge.
- Can readily encrypt messages with a strong cipher. He can preform real-time encryption on both symmetric and asymmetric protocols.
- Limitations:
- Generally, Recon can only be either on the offensive or the defensive when it comes to electronic warfare. E-warfare is CPU intense.
- His armor can become overheated if too much energy is dissipated through it. It's not gonna take abuse from that lighting spell forever.
- His radio has a max total transmission power of 700 watts, weather that power is spread across lots of bands or focused all in one.
Flight
- Recon has several small ion thrusters on his body. The openings are normally covered unless they are on. This allows him powered flight while his wings provide stabilization and cooling.
- Limitations:
- He has a top speed of just over 400 miles per hour. Speeds over 100 miles per hour are difficult to maintain for more then half an hour.
- He can not fly in true space, as his thrusters need a working medium of some kind. However he is able to get to heights most common aircraft can't touch.
- It takes about 7 minuets to reach top speed. Acceleration decreases the faster he is flying.
- While Recon can take more G-Force then a human, his frame does have limits. The faster he is flying the less he is able to turn without breaking something. Higher speeds carry more risk of getting hurt by turning too sharply.
Self-Repair
- Recon can repair himself slowly over time. Given that he is resting.
- Limitations:
- Self-Repair requires a lot of energy. It can not function while his other abilities are working.
- The system can not create mass out of thin air. So if considerable mass is lost in an injury, it will have to be replaced.
Robot
- Things that all come with being a robot.
- Recon can lift 730 lbs, his frame can take a whopping 1.2 ton load without being crushed.
- Recon does not need to breath. He is immune to getting sick via biological means. Alpha and Beta Radiation is not harmful unless it's at a high enough level to interfere with electronics.
- He can tolerate extreme cold without much trouble.
- Physically he does not normally require sleep unless injured. Due to programming limitations however, he does require mental rest.
Social Stuff
- Recon can eat food just like a human. A fusion recycler allows him to refuel this way.
- Recon has a close approximation to a sense of taste and smell.
