Another varient of Earth, the more major difference is that the lore is a very much real thing. Gods, goddess, monsters, wizards, heros, witches and of course, mad scientists exsist! Much of the world is relatively untouched from the original in terms of history, lore or otherwise.

Whilst he was younger, he worked several years as an assistant to those within the Orphanage.

Born and raised in an orphanage in a remote portion of North Dakota, Jacob had a relatively quiet, simple and loved childhood. His care takers, the Nuns of the Saints, were stern, kind and fairly pointed. His education, life and later, work, revolved around his orphanage. Despite being offered meager funds and another location to start his life after he turned 18, he stayed to assist the aging Nuns.

Not even before his 19 birth day, his orphanage came under attack. Monsters from his darkest dreams rushed the orphanage and torn the entire structure asunder. The nuns, the structure and Jacob's life was soon shattered. Something tiggered within him as a previously unknown rage engulfed him and all went dark.

Upon awakening, he found himself far from his former home. The structure still burning. The light fromt he flames revealing a great battle of monsters fighting monsters. So he ran, ran like he had never ran before. Leaving his home, his life and all that was behind. Later realizing that he himself, was one of the monsters that he had seen. It wouldn't be until many years later that he would come to realize what had happened, what went wrong and as to why, but by then he was already gone from his world.
