| Recently word has been circling about a new type of transportation even that is not a Breach or Migrant. They don't seem to happen the same way consistently but some things that remain the same between them is that some object or region will suddenly seem really important to the person or persons involved. It will suddenly seem like a really good idea to interact with it with a conviction that nothing bad will happen, though reports of people having resisted that urge exist. Those that give into the urge vanish from Infinitas and return roughly a day later in roughly the same location. The feeling has been later described as 'a flight of whimsy' and in conjunction with this seeming to be a literal method of traveling has popularized the name for this as 'Whimsy'. Things that whimsies seem to have in common: They are temporary: Regardless of how much time passes in the Whimsy, you'll always return within a day. They are repetitive: They will only take you back to somewhere you've already been. They are self contained: What happens on a whimsy is mostly undone upon returning. They are continuous: If a Whimsy returns you to a previous Whimsy, you'll resume how you left off the last time, though not always in the same time or place.
