Homeworld
Lilith is from a world similar to ours around the Second World War, with similar politics and technology.
There are however mythological beings and anthropomorphical animals both from common and mythological species.
Magic abilities, like regeneration, are common, but magic itself is not widely known, due to the local and more successful versions of the witch-hunt.
History

Cultsmith
For a few Years, Lilith made blades and tools for Cult members. Under strict supervision.
Canadian Paratrooper
Lilith was (and technically still is) a Canadian Paratrooper fighting Krauts in germany during WW2
Personal
The Cults Story in France
Lilith's story starts long before she was born, with the Cult of Viodrron, which was founded somewhere in the 17th century in a nameless city in France. Originally founded for bored royalty to play around with powers beyond what's healthy for them, it soon turned into more of religious organisation, partially because of the convoluted nature of the magic they used.

They formed a believe turning around an abstract god, too complex for the human mind (or anyone's, really), who is said to have been existed long before the universe was even created, an ancient being existing outside of time.

However to allow their god to get into the current universe, they are required to forge a new body for it with a variety of abilities to nourish the growing god. The body needs to be able to regenerate, summon all kind of things, shape shift and generally be a big mary sue.
Since the average person can't really create a body with all kinds of abilities, they have to resort to other methods to fulfill the request of their twisted god. They have to hunt and catch anyone or anything with the searched abilities and transfer them to cult members through gruesome and risky rituals of forbidden magic.

Their goal is to gather all the abilities by making sure each ability is carried by at least one cult member, but preferably more of them. Once they reached that goal they'll finish the century long process with a ritual fusing the bodies of their members into a single entity, forming the new body for the god and crushing the consciousness of every sacrificed Cult member in the process.

While the ties to the royalty and the bad documentation in those times allowed the Cult to get away with a fair amount of crimes, all of that changed with a revolution in france.

This revolution was not only fuelled by social injustice and extortion, but also the role that magic played in france at that time. It was something that seemed mysterious and unnatural to most, as gaining these abilities was very hard and usually went along with a power frenzy. Those capable of using them, often used them in sadistic ways and to gain more power.
The revolution not only aimed to bring down the royalty, but also get rid of the unnatural abilities that were used to plague the common person, partially also due to religious reasons.

Following this revolution, the Cult went into hiding, trying to avoid the persecution both due to their usage of the dark arts, as well as their differing religion.
A few decades later, Around the War of 1812, the Cult moved to Quebec in hopes of less religious persecution as Quebec was more rural during that time and formed a religious commune at Lac Delage.

The Cult resettles to Canada
Learning from the experiences during the revolution in France, the Cult decided to take a different approach this time around, trying to present itself as a common religion, like christianity, rather than an elitist crime club. While they still followed their plan and criminal schemes and kept close contact to the upper class, they divided the Cult into two castes to achieve this goal.

The Ascended Caste was a small exclusive club, divided into two sections, with a few hundred members, focusing on diplomacy with higher ups, collecting the abilities and doing all the crimes, or, as told to the rest of the cult, 'prepare for Viodrrons return'.
The Caste of the Seeking on the other hand were those not inaugurated in the deeper secrets of the Cult (read: Crimes). Their tasks focused on spreading the word, the teaching the ascended came up with to lure people into the cult, and gathering resources for the Cult to use, such as tithe but also personal. To keep them busy and easy to control they were often obliged to learn simpler jobs and avoid higher Education. And if they were devoted enough, they might even be worthy to ascend one day.

This tactic worked for some time, while the cult extended its influence and became more wildly known. At least the public part. Early in the 20th century however, the tech advanced and with that, the Cult garnered a bit more unwanted attention to the secret part of their religion.
Shortly after this cult attracted that attention, a large-scale war started in Europe, which later shall be known as the First World War and Canada got involved into that war as well.

A few of the Cults leading heads saw an opportunity in this and strived to make an agreement with the government. The government would cover up the ‘experiments’ the Cult is doing, while the Cult would provide the Canadian soldiers with a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

As a consequence of this, the government 'revealed' that some of those missing person and suspicious deaths were actually volunteers in a secret research program who sacrificed their life to prepare Canada for this war. The Cult on the other side provided relicts, which could give any soldier supernatural abilities. Here the dislike of dark magic during the French Revolution and the consequently reduced availability of knowledge regarding it came in handy for the Cult, not only enabling this deal, but also allowing them to provide relicts with limited energy due to made up reasons, as to not make themself redundant.

The details of this deal where not made public for a variety of reasons and the logistics were hidden behind a more public agreement, which provided the Cult with some privileges in turn for delivering weaponry, such as Lee Enfield Rifles in suspiciously large chests, which also contained what the cult actually promised.
Lilith's Childhood
Liliths parents were members of this Cult, particularly the Ascended Caste and the section that was responsible for preserving the powers and engaging in politics.
Her parents in specific were among those chosen to hold the ability to quickly heal wounds.

While there are quite a few species with these ability, the cult decided to catch a werewolf, as their regenerative abilities are superior to that of other species. Many sacrificed their life to gather this ability for their god both during the hunt and the following cruel ritual.
And while the ritual was successful in transferring the superior healing ability of the werewolf to Lilith's parents and all their descendants, it also transferred their adverse reaction to silver. Other werewolf attributes, such as shapeshifting or whatever else they might have, were not transferred.

Lilith inherited this ability from her parents, when she was born at Lac Delage somewhere in 1916.

That was about the only thing she got from her parents, as they didn't give her any attention or even time.

Both due to the culture of the cult as well as her parents attitude, Lilith was mostly brought up by other cult members, who took the roles of teachers and nannies.
While that was true for all children of the cult, their Curriculum widely differed. While all of them learned about the basic religious teachings, the other subjects depended on which Caste or division the parents of the children were in. Members of the Caste of the Seeking were usually taught crafty subjects and real world applications, such as building new houses for the Cult or farming. Children of the ascended on the other hand had a different curriculum, depending on the section they or rather their parents are in.

While those tasked with 'aquisition' were trained in combat, body building and stealth, the courses of the 'diplomacy' section looked different.

Her parents, and consequently she, were part of the section tasked with keeping the powers and 'diplomacy' and as such, Lilith had to endure history, literature and many other more theory focused subjects. Lilith however does have serious attention issues, causing her to quickly got bored and not learn a lot. The only exception to this were languages, the one subject she actually enjoyed.

While anthro-dragons are rather rare and even mystified in the general population, making up around 1% of it, Lilith didn't experience any negative or positive effects from her heritage. Partially because the cult focused on strengthening bonds between their members, as usual for cults, and partially because Lilith is not the kind of person who would recognise that.
The Wolf and the Teenage Rebelion
When Lilith was around 8 years old, she decides that it's finally time to see something else than the Village and, after lying to parents and guardians, left the village to go deep into the dark forrest to figure out the secrets of the world!
While the entrance of the village was guarded, the forrest around it was not, as it didn't had clear enough paths through it and the village was clean enough for people to visit it.

She found those in secrets in the form of an injured eastern wolf, hiding in a small cave. Being rather young and not having a clue of how to behave around wild animals resulted in mistakes causing quite a few bloody wounds on her. A lucky hit on the nose stopped the wolf from doing anything worse, but the damage was already done.
That is until the wounds closed up within minutes, even before she managed to leave the woods.

This experience did change her outlook on the world quite a bit. While it did hurt, there was no lasting damage and Lilith couldn't see why she didn't get to explore the world outside of the village and wasn't learning how to fight, especially since it doesn't seem like the dangers can do a lot to her.

The following years were plagued by an extensive teenage rebellion. Whenever she had a chance to, she tried to go onto adventures in the woods or other places, followed by harsher and harsher rules and punishments. None of them really managed to get her under control, but they were making her progressively more annoyed with her upbringing aswell as the people around her.

While she initially liked the other kids, the deep rooted believe in the cult they had and their, in her eyes, far-reaching obedience began to annoy her.

The summoning of their god was the highest goal, even for Lilith, but why did the Cult need to be so controlling about what she did in her freetime?

She channeled part of that anger and her wish to have some action into hunting exercises during her adventures. While, at first, she tried to do so with her claws and teeth, she soon learned that it is damn hard to get blood out of her fur and that made people look at her weirdly. So she started to steal kitchen knifes and other blades and used them and her wings for hunting down wild animals, with no success in the beginning, but more of it later on.
Life after school
Lilith expected to finally not have to deal with the cult telling her not to fight with wild animals or to do other reckless things when she's not in school after finishing high school.
Sadly for her, that's not what life (read: the mun) planned for her.

While the Cult did have less control over her than when she was a child, it still had a significant part in her life. The Village was, after all, a closed community in which only Cult members lived and Lilith didn't know anything about the real world, making it quite hard to make money and a living. The primary reason for her not leaving however was that the teachings of the Cult that were deeply ingrained in her. She didn't care about the rules, but she was not ready to even consider leaving the cult and being shunned, losing everything she grew up with.

To prevent Lilith from causing too much destruction around the village and maybe even get some use for the cult out of her, they tried to get her into a job. Due to Lilith's previous behaviour of being an all in all hard to control and a general Liability, she didn't learn a lot more about the Cult than a seeking member would. She does know about the ritual meant to summon their god, but nothing about the criminal side of the Cult or how they acquire their abilities.

Lilith knew that there was a part of the cult which apparently trained for something and really wanted to be part of the group, even though she didn't knew what exactly it did.
Aside from her not being meant to know about that, she was also deemed too careless and outstanding for covert missions.

Other tasks, such as teaching or farming, couldn't hold her attention for long enough and turned into more damage than good.
She eventually ended up learning how to smith. While it was still a somewhat monotonous job, being able to flex her muscles and creating *sharp* things of all kinds did keep her from setting the village on fire. On most days that is.

While Lilith considers this job somewhat interesting and does do it, She does preferring hunting or fighting over it.
The Military Visits Lac Delage
A few years later, World War 2 started and Lac Delac was visited by government officials again. While they couldn't force anyone to join the military, well they can at least ask and inform about the glorious ways the people here can serve their country.
Due to the waste amount of men needed in the ongoing but also the previous war, the role of women changed in that time.

They were not only allowed to, but even looked for in industry jobs and non-combative roles in the military, so much so that over 10% of Canadian women gained a permanent job over the course of the war.
Combative roles however were another story. While the government made use of the feminist movement to fire up the war efforts and even with success, putting women into active combat roles was still seen as 'controversial'.

But the military had a more pressing issue. Many mythical species offered a wide variety of advantages or abilities that other, more common species, did not offer.
Dragons for example offered advantages, such as increased range, stealth, controllability and reusability, compared to species requiring a parachute aswell as the additional shock factor of an oversized hill of aggression dropping right behind you.

With that in mind, some selected few women, who were of those species, were allowed into the military, as a kind of test.
Informations about women in active roles was surpressed and the plan was to first evaluate the performance of women in combat roles, before making a set decision on that.

And they did sell it on Lilith, particularly the role of a paratrooper in the Army, which was something unusual.
Jumping out of a plane, flying through the air and kicking ass ? Sounds awesome. She wanted to sign up on that day, but under the threat of being excluded from the cult, she did not do so.
The "Mission"
The following weeks she was sulking a lot, until she, probably for the first time in her life, actually thought about what she could do *before* doing it.

A few days later, she suggested to her parents to go on a mission. The one thing they always expected from her.

And what's the best way to missionary folks ? The war. I mean that's when you question your fate. Plus the military does offer a free flight to Europe. And back. Eventually.

Now a combative role would probably be out of the question, but that is where *lying* came into the picture.

Lilith did not exactly explain where she would work, but made it sound like she was imagining herself as a priest in the hospital far from the front - rather than jumping right into the danger.

Somehow this argumentation persuaded her parents and the elders and she got the permission. Or maybe she just lost all good faith they had due to her being born into a higher roll and yet not fulfilling her designated roll.

Once the permissions was acquired, she signed up with the military and received a 6-Month long basic training, before she was deployed with other Canadian paratroopers in France, where she was on two missions before going missing.

The first month of the basic training focused on shooting and close combat and was exercised together with soldiers of all species and areas.
This was the first time Lilith experienced different reactions to her species and general shape.

While some were just straight up scared by her, others were gossiping what kind of mysterious powers such creatures may have or tried to stay close to her to gain advantages in a weird way. Most however were scared to be sexist towards her.

Lilith was split upon this. It was kind of funny to scare people, but her mates being awkward around her was ... not as much.

The last two months of the training were more focused on specialising her towards her role. Consequently she was mostly training together with other dragons, who were not as reserved as as the soldiers she used work together with, but in turn sexist.

After clearing the area Lilith's unit was supposed to clear, she, and a few others, were trying to find a bar, after ... liberating some booze from the evil krauts.

Having already drunk a bit, she didn't quite realise that the colorful building she spotted, the Outpost, was behind a portal, so she stumbled there to get some more booze and celebrate the successful mission.

Items
Paratrooper Equipment (Edit)
The default equipment of any Canadian Paratrooper, consisting of:
Silk Map of the area that was attacked
Compass
Wire Cutter
Lighter
Hashlight Waterflask
Emergency Rations (Edit)
She has 5 C-Rations with her. And 5 small round aluminium boxes filled with fuel used to heat the food. Once ignited, they will burn at around 200°C for about an hour.
Two of the rations contain Oxtail stew, the other three contain Corned Beef, biscuits and cheese.
Whether they're enough for 5 days given her size is another question.
Duct Tape (Edit)
Another thing she borrowed from a quartermaster. A roll of standard duct tape, though an early version and not as good as normal duct tape. She uses it to hold an open wound, especially in her wing membrane, in a fixed position to prevent the wound from healing in a crooked way.
Weapons
Lee Enfield 303 Bolt Action Rifle
  • Standard Issue Lee Enfield Bolt Action rifle, as used by most Canadian paratroopers. It's chambered in .303 british, has a bayonet mount and is mostly made from wood.
Liliths rifle has a lot of scratches and notches in it from heavy use in close quarter fights, against advice from her trainers and superiors. It has a checklist on it, sporting 7 marks.
She also has 2 Magazines with a capacity of 10 shots on her and 30 bullets in .303 british.
She does prefer using it as a bayonet holder over using it for its intended purpose tho.
  • Quantity: 1
Browning Hipower 9mm (Edit)
  • Standard Issue Browning HiPower 9mm, as used by most Canadian paratroopers. It's chambered in 9mm Parabellum and is made from metal.
The pistol has 2 magazines with a capacity of 13 shots and 30 bullets.
  • Quantity: 1
Daggers and Bayonets (Edit)
  • Lilith has four different knifes straped to her tummy horizontally. All of them are standard infantry fighting knifes with a blade width of 1.5 to 2 inches and a blade length between 7 and 8 inches.
One of them is the standard issue stiletto all canadian paratroopers have, while the others were ,borrowed‘ from people who wont need them anymore. Either as backup, when she lost the original or as trophies.
All of them have bayonet mounts.
Skills
Combat
  • Paratrooper Training
    • Training:
6 Months Training, 2 Battle Missions,
      (For Knives: Hunting since Childhood)
    • Description:
Training in Close Combat, Armed and Unarmed, especially with daggers and knives.
Jumping out of a plane, combat flying, using the Lee Enfield and Browning.
Non-combat
  • Hunting
    • Description:
Lilith used to hunt animals in her youth for years, learning about tracking and building traps.
Her favorite tactic is to wait in a tree for something interesting to come by, catch up to it with her wings and then drop onto it with Knives and claws, similar to a cheetah in tactics, but airborne.
However she also hunts by setting up traps and driving her prey into that.
Which tactic she uses depends on the prey.
She mostly uses trip wires and the occasional snare trap. In Theory she also knows how to use bear traps. But those were a bit harder to acquire.
She mostly uses trip wires and the occasional snare trap. In Theory she also knows how to use bear traps, but those were a bit harder to acquire.
The prey she usually deals with are:
White-Tailed Deer, Squirrel and Bunnies, bobcats, Coyotes and Eastern wolfs
She also dealt with a few Caribous and two Black bears, but those are the rare exemption and not the rule.
  • Smithery
    • Description:
The Cult values independence from the non-believers and as such has their own smiths to produce different goods. This however happens in a smaller setting and doesn't include any experience on large scale productions. The training included different crafts, in case one of the smiths had to help out somewhere else, but often focused on one or two major crafts.
She requires the right tools/machinery to do so and, due to attention issues, a fair amount of time to craft anything of use.
Her main craft is being a tool/weapon smith focusing on creating tools like hammers, axes etc, including knifes, daggers and Weapons like swords, scimitars and the likes.
She also has some basic knowledge, equal to about 2-3 months experience, as a blacksmith, a coppersmith and metalsmith, focusing on the production of religious artefacts from copper, gold, silver or pewter.
This should be enough to not require her to start with nothing, but not enough for her to work in these fields independently.
  • Self-Propelled Flight
    • Description:
Lilith is capable of using her wings to fly, propelling herself and sustaining flight. The Length of this flight depends on the speed she's achieving and her endurance, similarly to how it would be for someone on the ground. Going for the quickest she can possibly achieve, akin to sprinting at full speed, wont be sustainable for more than a few minutes, like the sprint of a Cheetah. At a more sustainable but reasonable fast speed, she'll be able to fly for around 30 minutes, while the most she can achieve, focusing on gliding and only using her wings to remain altitude, should be around 4-6 hours, depending on how awake she is. With her experience of hunting in the woods and her job of *jumping out of a plane*, she's quite experienced in short and fast flights, including flying in close quarters and dodging environmental dangers, but also in manovering at speeds higher than what she's able to achieve on her own as well as slowing down from such speeds, while endurance flights are not her strong suit.

Parnormal Abilities
Regeneration (Edit)
  • Description:
Lilith has the same healing capabilities the average werewolf has. From minor cuts up to bullet wounds or broken bones, any injury heals within minutes. Similarly the effects of poisons, venoms, alcohol and anesthetics, while being as severe as they would usually be, don't last nearly as long as they would on an average human, but only a quarter of the time.
  • Limits:
This Ability only heals wounds and broken bones. It doesn't work with other ailments, nor can it replace limbs that were removed or organs that were harvested or removed.
  • Repercussions:
Silver does burn Lilith if touched. Any wounds caused by silver will heal significantly slower, even compared to how long that wound would need to heal on a human. Remenants of elemental silver with a volume bigger than 4mm cubic remaining in the wound will stop it completely from Healing until removed.
The quick healing can cause significant issues, if the wound is not stabilised before it starts to heal. Bones growing together in angles they don't belong into, flesh closing up around bullets and similar issues.
As described above, this healing also applies to poisons, anestetica, venoms and booze. The effects of these substance, while as serious as intended, will be removed from her body after a quarter of the time. Which means while 3 Beers will make her just as drunk as a human her size, she'll be sober after 90 minutes rather than 6 hours. This also makes any surgical interventions hard, if not impossible, but certainly painful. Lilith requires a lot more food than the average human does to sustain a good mood and sanity.
Toxin Spit (Edit)
  • Description:
A defence mechanism from old ancestors.
Lilith can exhale a fine mist, which burns on skin like an acid, but doesn't do much damage, aside from a fair amount of pain. Depending on the personal pain tolerance, it might just break concentration but could also lead to cramps. If someone gets into the eyes, it still hurts, and causes the victims view to become blurry, similar to having water in their eyes. After a few minutes the victim should be able to somewhat see again, but still very blurry. The effect ends after a few days or once the eyes are washed with water.
If said mist is breathes in, gets into ears or mouth, it can have a slightly disorienting effect.
  • Limits:
Lilith needs to have acidic foods in her diet to use this ability. She may not use it more than 3 times a day total and needs 20 minutes after a use before she can use another.
  • Repercussions:
Lilith is not immune to her own Toxin. If used against a target above her or the wind, she can hit herself and suffer from the effects above.
Draconic Strenght (Edit)
  • Description:
Lilith is nearly twice as strong as a human her size. And needs a lot more food to sustain herself.
