They come from earth, in a distant future. Pop culture as we know it isnt like it is there, and the world is heavily machined and efficient in a capitalists sense. Best way to describe it is captalisim run rampant. Almost cyber punk but not quiet.

Being a working class citizen, not many opportunities came his way. He spent most of his time trying to make a living, getting by with his wits and humor. Sometimes anyway, most of the time he gets ripped a new one. He still tries, despite that, and eventually managed to get a good streak going, gaining some measure of wealth and possessions, but always felt unfulfilled. Having a job in machinery he has knowledge of operations on equipment and technology. Making it is a different story but he can at least use it. After going to far with a plan to gain some more for himself, he goes on the run when a loan shark came to collect.
