  • Description:
RoboNega's base design is that of the standard anime catgirl; a human female with the ears and tail of a cat. While this is her base, she looks like nothing so organic. Virtually every part of her is made of a polished black metal. Her design has a very subtle skeletal theme, but the other parts filling up the skeletal frame are the same material and color as the 'bone' parts, so it's not easily noticed. She is built with long limbs, ending in hands or feet as appropriate, with digits ending in metal claws. Her tail as well is a series of chunky metallic segments, versus somethin supple as a real cat's tail. Upon her head she has two articulating triangular sensory receivers, analogous to the cat ears and often behaving in the same way. Her head has the slightly triangular shape of a cat's skull. She has no visible nose or mouth, but at the very front of her 'skull' there is a red circle, about 5 inches across, that appears to be an eye. By means of some sliding shutters, this red lens can express emotion much in the same way a human does with their eyelids. It has been known to glow when she is angry.
Her body is shaped, at least in silhouette, like a healthy and conventionally attractive woman; her sides gently curve in and swell out into hips and thighs, leading into long legs. Beyond that, she has no recognizable anatomical bits. Her chest is taken up by the turbofan intake of her jet engine, the exhaust of which sticks slightly out of her back.
RoboNega is almost always seen levitating unless she has taken a seat, even just 'standing' around, she'll be floating a few inches above the floor with her wicked toe-talons dangling.
    (TL;DR - one-eyed floating Terminator robot catgirl.)
Homeworld
She comes from a world overrun with superheroes and nonsense, otherwise treated as modern Earth.
Note: She is from a comic book world where crazy things happen every day. Even though she has only existed for about a year or so, she has had hundreds of aventures.
History
Vocational
Criminal (false memory)
RoboNega has memories of a life as a much, much more common criminal than she is. She thus knows a lot of low-level criminal techniques she doesn't really need; things like picking a lock, hotwiring a car, and getting ahold of a scummy lawyer at 3AM.
Supervillain
At the beginning of her actual existence, RoboNega was a supervillain. Powerful, deadly, and single-minded, she was a match for any hero that dared oppose her. Her crimes were always the same, however; stealing diamonds. She never so much had a plot that would result in staging a better plot tp get diamonds later, she just went straight for them and tried to take them. This beeline approach to villainy combined with multiple heroes teaming up against her led to her needing an evolution in her career.
Hench
More experienced, more ambitious supervillains existed. Many of these individuals had the creativity to put RoboNega's abilities to much better use, and a few of these had the money to pay her in diamonds. Adding her to any situation cranked the adventure up to 11, and she gained a lot of experience in the short-but-eventful time she spent doing this. She learned more about thinking and planning from these malevolent mentors.
Blood Diamond Boss
In the depths of Africa, a group of local men had violently captured and enslaved another group of local men. The first group forced the second to search for diamonds, and rewarded them with a few hours of sleep & the chance to live another day. RoboNega happened upon this horrible situation and - took over. She easily dispatched the slavers, but then took the operation over. The workers thought her to be a kinder soul than their previous bosses, but she was not; she was merely smarter. She knew that humans need food and shelter to maintain the ability to work, and that they could only be expected to work so many hours in a day. She calculated the ideal work/life balance that would benefit her most, then enforced it with fear of death. She absorbed a few more operations and had a good thing going for herself. She learned more about how organic creatures work, how they feel and what they need beyond basic caloric intake. She saw lovers and families, birth and death, joy and sorrow; things alien to her own experience. She didn't pick up any humanity, but she at least got the concept of it.
Defender of the Earth
This lasted her about an hour. She decided to pitch in to defend against a cosmic invasion. The amount of damage she did to the enemy forces in her short time was staggering, but her brief foray into heroism was cut short when she blew herself up and got migrated to Infinitas.
Personal
The birth of RoboNega
In her world there is a superhero that stands above the rest; a feline-human hybrid. Some time in this hero's career, an attempt was made to expand the reach of her skills by creating a robotic version of her.
Also in this world, there is a anomaly referred to as 'The Nega Cloud'. This anomaly produces a negative representation of anything it passes over, and these new entities are usually referred to as Negas.
It came to pass that the aforementioned robot was reproduced by the cloud, and this negative duplicate was born as RoboNega. Whereas the original robot was a subtle, low-powered protector of justice, NegaRobo is an astonishingly powerful engine of destruction with no direction whatsoever, with an extremely wasteful fuel source.
Villainous Career
Motivated only by her quest for fuel, RoboNega became a formidable supervillain. Sometimes she would act alone, directly targeting supplies of her fuel source; other times she would be in the employ of anyone wealthy enough to pay her in diamonds. She never became anyone's arch enemy, and has no notable relationship with any other super-entity, not even the one from which she was created.
Lovelorn
RoboNega is aromantic with no biological desires. During a period of her life, she partnered with another synthetic lifeform, and the two fused into a single being. Unfortunately, the other life-form did have biological, romantic needs and deluded itself into thinking that RoboNega loved her back. This led to problematic, obsessive behavior, and things got even worse when it realized that RoboNega would not and could not return her feelings. Eventually RoboNega had to end the relationship with an exceptionally messy breakup that culminated in the other creature being sucked into RoboNega's jet engine. Prior to this, RoboNega had no interest in relationships; positive or negative. Since this event, she is now wary of them.
Blood Diamonds
RoboNega largely gave up on traditional supervillainery upon discovering illegal diamond mines in Africa. She found such an operation where locals had been enslaved to work, and took over by brute force. She treated her new 'employees' much better than the prior boss, but make no mistake: any apparent 'kindness' was simply to increase the efficiency and reliability of her workers. They appreciate the improvement in their living conitions, but they still lived in fear of her and did not feel free to leave.
Cosmic Powers
Alas, a robot can't just chill out in Africa all of the time. A cosmic evil descended on the Earth, requiring both hero and villain to rise up in defense. As she lived on the Earth, RoboNega was compelled to join. In the vacuum of space, she charged her laser to full capacity, requiring the use of her singularity lens. As her miniature black hole swirled, something went wrong. The singularity destabilized, and her massive beam attack splashed back on her, as a rift in very reality tore open behind her! The Planet Buster attack not only used up most of her fuel, but severely damaged her, and she came out of the Yellow breach in quite a sorry state.

Space Battle Wreckage - Space Pirate Ship (Edit)
This ship was originally a light attack craft from a fleet of space pirates, about the size of a large yacht. Currently, it is about 20% of itself consisting of the tip of the prow and much of the starboard hull. There is no part of this wreckage that can perform any function, but it is rife for salvage. Major parts of interest are:

Hull: The hull is made of an advanced alloy; it belongs to a ship that is capable of functioning in both atmosphere and the vacuum of space. This piece is about 15 feet tall and 30 feet long, though it curves up into the prow at one end. It also curves along the contour of the ship, and is not in a convenient flat, rectangular shape. The alloy is tough and highly resistant to blunt force and directed energy attacks. Despite being very tough and the armor of a battleship, it is surprisingly easy to work with; indeed, multiple patches and customizations exist along its length. It is not magnetic and does not rust or tarnish.

Hull Piece 2: This is about a 10x10 foot piece if properly flat hull. RoboNega has lasered/kicked about a 6-foot hole in the middle of it, but this could be repaired by someone with the capacity to bend and weld large pieces of metal.

Solar Sail: A reasonably square 30x30 foot section of solar sailcloth. One side of this fabric absorbs sunlight, and the other repels it. It can be used to propel a spacecraft on solar winds just like a normal sail works with... normal winds. Its use as a solar sail planetside would be limited, though it could function as a particularly thick and strong wind sail. It could also be used to insulate a small building, keeping it very cold or very hot on the inside, depending which side of it is up.

Electronics: The inner part of the hull has part of the ship's interior. While this is all ripped apart, there are capacitors and transistors and circuit boards and wires and all sorts of electronic esoterica that should be compatible with standard Earth technology.

Superconductors: There is about 3 ounces of superconductive metal from wires that were once connected to an energy cannon.

Precious Metals: Among the wiring there are about 4 ounces of gold, 2 ounces of platinum, and a half-ounce of rhodium.

Exotic Wood: The pirates apparently used wood flooring in their ships and there is about 10 pounds worth of splintered boards. The wood is exceptionally light, strong, and waterproof - but not to a severe degree. It is from an alien tree from an unknown planet, so it may be of interest to collectors or astrobiologists.

Space Cannonballs: These 20-inch cannonballs are made of the same alloy as the hull, mixed with a denser material that makes them heavier, denser, and softer than the hull. There are about 6 of these but, unfortunately, no cannon to shoot them out of. They are suitable for multiple means of propulsion, from magnetic rails to good old black powder.

Space Torpedoes: 2 torpedoes in perfect condition, each about 5 feet long. Each one contains a charge roughly equivalent to a Bunker Buster. They are made of a very light metal alloy and filled with all sorts of interesting electronics, such as targeting chips and guidance sensors and simple long-range communication devices and low-level antigravity pumps.. They have ion thruster capable of maneuvering with considerable agility. They can fly for miles in space, but only about 2000 feet in an earthly atmosphere. They require both a torpedo tube and a compatible targeting computer, neither of which made it through the breach. They would probably explode upon impact if launched at any decent speed or if hit by a direct energy attack.
Space Pirate Swords (Edit)
Self-recharging powered swords, shaped oddly like cutlasses. While they are sharp enough on their own, when powered-on, the blade vibrates at a high frequency to assist it in cutting through things. This won't make the sword cut though anything a normal steel sword couldn't cut through, but does make it cut much faster.

While potent in the hands of some, RoboNega has little use for them.

They could be easily re-worked into other powered tools; like a handheld hoe that tills soil like a plow.
Gunner's Chair (Edit)
A seat from the pirate ship which once served a cannon operator. It is much like a gaming chair, only with futuristic 'smart foam' that adapts to the user, allowing them to sit comfortably for hours, and stay cool and dry even under the most stressful conditions. This seat came from a military vessel, but the pirates have reupholstered it with animal fur and gold-plated skulls and other barbaric things. Anyone seated in it strikes quite a pose.

RoboNega will most likely keep this for herself.
Weapons
Metal Claws
  • RoboNega has large, thick metal talons on each finger, and larger ones on each toe. These are made of a material with an unlikely combination of hardness and tensile strength, which means they are very sharp but not brittle. They are certainly not adamantine blades that effortlessly slice through anything, but there are few materials that they can't at least gouge into a little. The claws require no particular Establishment level to use, but they are kept sharp by the regenerative abilities provided by her Internal Forge. Excessive use at lower power levels might make them grow dull.

The claws can change position a bit, but they do not retract. They can get in the way of handling things she's not actually trying to destroy and often lead to unintended damage or injury, -usually- minor. Her feet tend to gouge up the floor if she walks on them, which is part of why she usually doesn't.
  • Effective range from character: Brawling - punches and kicks.
Laser - (BASIC+) (Edit)
  • NegaRobo's most defining weapon - her laser. It projects from the red lens on the front of her face, which most people mistakenly think is her eye. It fires sizzling crimson beams of excited photons which both burn and slice their way through things.

RoboNega has an unknown number of lenses in her head which she can swap out to change the effect of her beam. Some of these make trade offs between things such as power, accuracy, and range. Other change the speed or spread of the beam, while other change the shape. The most extreme is a pinpoint beam that focuses all of her power on a tiny speck miles away, and the second most extreme slows the beam down to a shotgun blast that lances at everything within a few yards. The most extreme is a horrible flash that might give nearby foes a sunburn but can blind or dazzle enemies much further away. Each lens has a distinct distortion in the center that resembles a pupil, and she will cycle through the different shapes to express her emotional state. This makes a sound evocative of an optometrist's testing device.

RoboNega can reduce the power of her beam to simply point things out at range, or to paint targets for a guided weapon.

The 'basic' beam is about an inch in diameter, and responds to her Establishment level as follows:
Basic - Write her name on a tank, or burn a little hole in it in a few minutes.
Surviving - Burn a hole in a tank instantly.
Foothold - Slice a piece off of a tank.
Steady - Cut a tank in half
    Reliable - Melt a tank.
Thriving - Tanks for the memories.
Excess - A whole battalion gone in moments.
-The Planet Buster - This inaccurately-named move is one of RobaNega's ultimate techniques. It uses a singularity to focus unlimited power for her eye laser, resulting in a massive beam of burning, destructive energy. It can't actually bust a planet, but it could destroy a small town, and a few blasts from it could ruin a city. RoboNega needs to be at Excessive establishment to use this more than once, and, even then, using it more than a few times will drop her down a level.

Note: This energy beam is not, literally, a laser, anymore than the emitter of it is an eye. It is an 'agitated photon beam', a stream of photons which vibrate slightly, creating heat and increasing their physical interaction with solid material. The beam both cuts physically and burns with energy, meaning it can partially affect things that are immune to physical or heat damage (but not both). Unlike a laser, the beam itself emits a fair amount of heat and noise, enabling targets to hear or possibly feel it coming. Since the photons are not moving in a straight line, it is also slower than a laser - while it still reaches a target much faster than any bullet, it is not an instantaneous strike. Essentially, it is a more extreme attack than an actual laser beam, but individuals have a slightly better chance to dodge it
  • Effective range from character: Varies; from a few yards to may miles; could reach the moon in extreme situations.
Guided Rockets - (STEADY) (Edit)
  • About the size of a toilet paper tube, these rockets launch from ports on the front of RoboNega's shoulders. They steer towards their target, usually with enough agility to make a second or third attempt after a dodge. They explode with about with a concussive force over a small radius. She has to be at at least Steady Establishment for her Internal Forge to begin producing these. Rockets launched in a group, as they usually are, do not need to be aimed at the same target.
Note: In DnD terms, one missile is maybe 2d6 bludgeoning damage in a 5-foot radius?

The degree of Establishment does not change the power of the little missiles; instead, it increases the quantity. It also seems to increase the number of launching ports she has, but she's never let anyone poke around at her enough to see if the 'extra' ports are missing or simply hidden.

Steady - 2-4 at a time, a couple times per day.
Reliable - Sprays of up to 10 a few times a day, or greater uses with smaller numbers.
Thriving - Easily able to fire thirty or more at once a few times a day, or smaller batches many times a day, or tiny groups of 2-4 as much as she likes.
Excess - Able to launch massive swarms of hundreds of rockets with five or ten minutes to recuperate, able to fire them by the dozen about as much as she likes.
  • Effective range from character: 1,000 feet, including maneuvering time. Rockets explode when they run out of range.
Throwing Knives - (FOOTHOLD) (Edit)
  • A bit of a misnomer, these blades are not thrown by RoboNega, but are launched from magnetic ports in her wrists. These shiny black knives are about three & a half inches long, made of the same material as her claws, with the same stealth coating as her body. They do about as much damage as if they were thrown by a healthy human. At the lowest level, she can throw them about as fast as she can throw punches. They level up in a similar way to the rockets, including more ports appearing as needed, but retain their relatively meager damage.
  • Effective range from character: 50 feet
Tail/Monofilament (Edit)
  • RoboNega's tail is made of a series of flat, blocky metal shapes, each one weighing about 4 pounds. A good strike from it is like being hit with a rope made of sledgehammers, and that's in addition to whatever level of super strength she is currently enjoying.

The last two segments contain a surprise; a monofilament thread. The thread reels into the second-to-last segment. The final segment can detach on it own. Spring-loaded, the end flies out depending hard it is swung. Anything caught in the filament's path is subject to slicing. It can't slice through anything tougher than bone or aluminum. The level of Establishment she has does not affect how much the line can cut, but more power does make it less likely to break. Even in the best circumstance, it takes her body several days to repair the snapped filament, so she avoids using it unless she is very powered up.

If it doesn't break, the filmaent reels back in when the tail segment runs out of momentum.

She can also use this to smack someone with the 4 pound titanium segment at range.

The tail detaches and reattaches at will. RoboNega can control her tail even when it is not plugged in, for all the more the tail can actually do when detached. It can wrap around a person and bind them quite firmly - and that's about it.
  • Effective range from character: 20 feet
Mouth (Edit)
  • While she almost never opens it, and possibly never will during her entire time at Infinitas, RoboNega DOES have a mouth. It's just a flap with some narrow metal protrusions to represent teeth; she doesn't have throat behind it, and she doesn't fire any weapons about it. She can bite down quite hard, and her jaw can also slowly bite through things like Jaws of Life. She rarely encounters anything she needs to rip through that she can't do more easily with her claws or frikkin laser beam, and she vocalizes through a speaker in her throat, so there's very little opportunity to reveal this silly vestigial part.
  • Effective range from character: Brawling
Soup of the Day (Edit)
  • When needed, RoboNega is known to temporarily develop new weapons systems on the fly. The complexity of these depends on her Establishment level, but they are rarely terribly complex. She has been known to create machine guns, chainsaws, flame throwers, bazooka shells, fire suppressants, and the occasional freeze ray. She would never do this twice in one adventure, and is unlikely to do so two adventures in a row. Also, this exclusively generates weapons - no cloaking fields or force shields or anything designed to do anything but damage.

These weapons are integrated into RoboNega's limbs or body and cannot function if removed. They are generated by a mass of something like a 'smart matter' stored within RoboNega's body. Any fuel or ammunition required also comes from this smart matter. The devices, even if they are a simple sword, require constant energy from RoboNega's body to continue to exist; when the energy stops being provided, they are reabsorbed. It takes RoboNega several days to recycle/regenerate this smart matter before she can benefit from this strange ability again.

Note: She often produces two identical weapons, one on each arm.

Any ammunition or part of the device removed from her becomes inert.

The complexity of the weapon has some relation to her Establishment level. Swords, flamethrowers, single shot firearms, and the like, are available at the lowest levels; complexity increases as she goes up Establishment. Higher tiers are required before she can begin creating direct energy weapons.

The duration of the weapon is also based on her establishment. At the first level or two, she will probably only get a single attack before her weapon gives out. At maximum establishment, the weapon could last a whole scene. Either way, the time it takes her smart matter to recompile does not change.
Skills
Combat
  • Nega-Memories
    • Training:
      False memories
    • Description:
RoboNega remembers being activated, and being put through all manner of testing and calibration. She remembers being used by criminals to help them commit heists and assassinations. She remembers about a year of scraps with police and superheroes. None of this ever happened; these memories appeared in her head the moment she appeared in reality. Most of the people in them do not even exists. Nonetheless, she benefits from the experience.
Non-combat
  • Nega OS
    • Description:
RoboNega's operatnig system is based on negative logical she calls it a Nega-Alpha-Vowelenary System; instead of 0 and 1, it codes with A-E-I-O-U and, sometimes, Y - the strings of code each mean something, but the system registers more of what they -don't- mean; it's a mess. The most brilliants minds would likely take decades of work and a lethal amount of mind-altering substances to even begin to crack it. This means people who use technology will be unable to interface with her, hack her, write a virus for her, etc. This goes both ways, though; her OS can't interface with or write a virus for another device. Individuals who interact with 'technology' supernaturally should have little to no extra difficulty from this.
  • Clarified Carbon Reactor - currently BASIC
    • Description:
RoboNega's primary power source is an ascientific reactor that runs on diamonds. It will only run on real, natural diamonds. Diamonds conjured by sorcery burn up instantly. Cubic zirconia are not diamonds and are no different than trying to fill her reactor with dirt. Colored diamonds are impure and, while they work, do not work as well and have side effects depending on their color (TBD), with one exception. Cut versus uncut, and flawed versus flawless, have no negative effects, though they 'feel' a little different to her. She prefers the cut and flawless, but can appreciate the earthy feeling the uncut ones give her.

The amount of diamonds to which she has access to determines what functions she can use and to what degree she can use them. She needs to establish a source of them; how well-established her source determines what functions she can use, how often she can use them, and how powerful they can be:

Inert - No power at all, or, at least, not enough to do much of anything.
Basic - She probably has a few diamonds rattling around from a prior time, but has none coming in.
Surviving - She has a stream of diamonds that is just enough that she can use her powers when she really needs to.
Foothold - The supply is not good, but it is fixed. Higher functions and some frivolous use are available.
Steady - While not good enough to supply her constantly, she can count on the diamonds to come in at a predictable pace. This allows free use of many of her functions, but leaves her at risk of burning up her supply for a few days.
Reliable - Whenever she looks upon her diamond bucket, it will have some diamonds in it. Many functions available without limit. Even if she pushes herself too far she'll be able to go home and re-stock the same day.
Thriving - Her daily influx is more than she could use in a day. All but her highest of functions can be used freely and without limit.
Excess - She is drawing in more than she could ever use. All functions are available without limit.

Overcharge: RoboNega can access a function one level higher thane her current Establishment, but doing so reduces her Establishment rating for a day. She can do this multiple times, each based on her current Establishment, each taking a day to recover.

Windfall - If she gets a one-time influx of diamonds, such as raiding the basement at DeBeers, the GM may increase her Establishment rating by any given number for any given amount of time, on a case-by-case basis.

Red Diamonds - Even a small amount of naturally-occurring red diamonds will dramatically boost her power. Access to these increases her Establishment by three stages, for as long as she has access to them.

RoboNega has two hollow cylinders inside of her torso. These are where she keeps the diamonds. She may send diamonds to the chambers via ports in her palms or chest. A very solid, blunt hit can cause her to leak some diamonds, sending up a glittering cloud as she is struck.
  • Backup Generator
    • Description:
RoboNega has a small backup energy generator that would be considered, in some aspects, to be alive. It will slowly but surely pump energy into her system, without any outside input. If her fuel cylinders are empty, this generator provides enough power for her to perform her basic functions. In the best case, this will allow her to levitate, but it will almost always at least allow her to walk around. If she becomes completely drained, it will eventually restore her basic functions over a period of hours.

This device is located deep in the center of her torso.
  • Is a Robot
    • Description:
As a mechanical lifeform, RoboNega lacks most of the needs of an organic being. She generally needs no food, water, clothing, or shelter. Temperature extremes, unless they would shatter or melt titanium, have little effect on her. While she will sometimes shut down to conserve power, she does not need to sleep and does not suffer from fatigue. Everything she needs, in terms of repairs, lubricants, ammunition, etc., are manufactured by her internal forge using diamonds from her reactor.
  • Internal Forge - Fabrication, Regeneration (BASIC+)
    • Description:
A small chamber of indeterminate size inside RoboNega fabricates real items using nothing but the energy from her reactor. This ascinetific process has few hard and fast rules to it. It makes ammunition for her more solid-state weapons, and supplies materials and replacement parts to repair her when she is damage. From one perspective, the forge can make anything - anything small, at least. Functionally, though, it only makes things appropriate for a robot. It can make fuses and small devices and other electro-mechanical dare, but it's not going to make a bar of gold or a sandwich. It also has some limit on how much it can customize something; it can make a 20 amp fuse on demand, and it might make a RoboNega-shaped toy, but it won't make 'the key to this lock'. It's primarily for repair and ammo, but comes in handy for crafting/repairing things that need complex parts.

The forge can repair or replace any part of RoboNega, essentially granting her regeneration. This functions even at Basic level, and, of course, gets faster the more fuel income she has. It's only at Excessive Establishment that she would begin to heal at a visible speed like Deadpool, and even then she's unlikely to regrow a limb before the end of a fight.

If her forge is destroyed, the rest of her body can regenerate it for her; the time this takes depends on how much fuel she is able to dump into it.

She never has, but RoboNega can use her forge and repair function to make purely cosmetic adjustments to her appearance.

The forge is located near her solar plexus, below her jet engine.
  • Holy Trinity
    • Description:
NegaRobo is backed up in assorted locations. As long as her head, her backup generator, or her forge are intact, she will regenerate. A notable complication in this is that she won't regenerate if her backup generator is non-functional AND she has no energy; she'll need charged up! Another complication is that the forge & generator are not terribly far apart.

If parts are separated, which part grows back is a case-by-case basis, and it would take an extreme circumstance for multiple RoboNegas to grow back.
  • Antigravity Flight - (BASIC, STEADY)
    • Description:
NegaRobo can suspend herself midair via an antigravity device. This uses a very small amount of energy, allowing her to levitate most of the time without standing. When using the device to fly, it can propel her at about 40 MPH.

If she his Steady levels of Establishment, the speed increases to about 100 MPH.

This functions underwater, albeit considerably slower, and in a vacuum, albeit considerably faster.

This also allows her to maintain her position midair, keeping her from being moved by outside forces, to a degree.
  • Jet Engine - (STEADY)
    • Description:
RoboNega has a short but powerful jet engine mounted in her chest. The turbofan on the front is highly visible, though a lot of the back parts retract inside when the engine is not in use. At a Steady level of Establishment, she can reach supersonic speeds to travel vast distances. As her Establishment goes up, the amount of trips she can make increases, but the speed does not.

The turbofan and the engine are very durable, capable of processing most things one might try to jam into them. A motorcycle or very unfortunate person could be sucked into it and come out the back in a shower of sparks, shrapnel, and... etcetera as appropriate. This is one of her desperation attacks, as it does tend to ding up and clog her engine a bit. She can brace her talons in the ground and produce enough suction to pull an enemy in from a few yards away, in a pinch.

The turbofan can be used for underwater propulsion, but not at any comparable speed to what the engine can do in the air.

The jet fuel is provided by her Internal Forge.
  • Cosmic Flight - (THRIVING)
    • Description:
When terrifically charged up & having a very good reason to do so, RoboNega can travel through SPAAAAACE. Speed is nebulous in space, so suffice it to say she can make it to another point in space in an amount of time that makes for viable story.

Note: While she could fly around space in her homeworld, she is still subject to any rules of Infinitas regarding leaving the planet.
  • Powered Armor Plating - (BASIC+)
    • Description:
RoboNega is made of a highly refined, exceptionally durable form of titanium. Her regenerative ability keeps it polished to a gleaming shine. In addition to being a very tough substance, energy from the reactor flows through it to strength its atomic bonds.

The armor specializes in deflecting or absorbing piecing attacks, as well as countering direct energy attacks. The armor will reflexively concentrate its energy output to absorb an incoming attack. This reacts to different attacks in different ways. As her Estbalishment improves, so does her ability to resist damage.

Bullets: RoboNega's smooth, curvy metal body is difficult for a bullet to find purchase on, and her energized armor is ideal for stopping a small, solid projectile. A single, normal bullet from a sidearm is unlikely to deal her any significant amount of damage.
-A special bullet, such as an armor-pircing or incinderary round, would have a better chance at dealing damage.
-A large number of regular pistol bullets coming at her at a steady rate would be difficult for her Energized Armor to keep up with, so she could take noteworth damage from a hail of regular bullets.
-Higher-powered rounds such as those from a hunting rifle or 'assault weapon' have the potential to do enough damage for her to bother to dodge.
-Other Piercing attacks are also resisted, but may be more effective than bullets. An arrow shot from a very strong bow or crossbow might trouble her armor. The point of an arrow or spear is mich finer than that of a bullet, so the exact impact point is harder to predict. An arrow or such also has a migh higher mass than a bullet, so, even though it is moving slower, there is more overall material to deal with. A ballista or whaling harpoon gun would probably punch right into her at all but her highest levels of Establishment.

Bludgeoning: While certainly not weak to blunt impacts, the armor is not as good with them. The energy needs to be spread over a wider area, and a blunt attack is less likley to slip off her curvy hull.
-Brawling attacks and martial arts from a normal mortal organic are... ridiculous. She's made of reinforced, enrgized titanium and weigh about 600 pounds. Any normal indifidual punching or kicking her is likely to hurt themselves without affecting her.
-Super Strength individuals, say, someone strong enough to lift a car, can begin to damage ehr with their fists more effectively than they could with a sidearm. They better have some invulnerability too, though, as she is still made of metal.
-Large objects like a hurled boulder, thrown car, catapulted cornrice, speeding truck, or big log swung on a rope, are all good options if available. This is a lot of impact coming up against a lot of surface area, and she is designed for this kind of trauma. While she is still tough and such an attack is not going to crumple her like a soda can, this is not the sort of punishment she can shrug off.

Energy: Energy attacks are also something the armor is specialized against, however, they work largely in reverse of physical damage. To defent the titanium against an energy attack, the armor has to meet it at the point of contact and overpower it with energy from the reactor. This uses up her reserved diamonds a fair bit faster than physical damage, especially with attacks that are continuous. A large blast of energy; perhaps you would call it a 'line' or 'cone', is usually very spread out and easy for her armor to counter. A weapon that can fire a very narrow attack, however, can usually commit more energy to the effort than her reactor can.
-Fire can be problematic for her. While going into space and re-entering the athmosphere doesn't harm her, this is because her system has prepared in advance for the situation and configured her to deal with it. In normal circumstances, fire is an energy that soaks into her metal and continiously fights with her Energized Armor. Heating up her internals is as problematic as it is for any other computer, and, since metal aborbs heat, it's hard for her to cool down even after the fire is gone. While this is still not a 'weakness' that will disable her instantly, and she can take an attack from a flamethrower much better than a human could, it's still something she has to worry about.
-Electricty in small amounts is ill-advised. A taser or static shock attack will simply be absorbed by her system and used to slow down the drain on her diamond supply.
-Electricity in large amounts, like a downed power cable, a powerfil electricity cannon, or an actual lightning bolt, are well advised. Neither her physical armor or her energized armor are built to repel this attack. Her systems will absorb as much as they can, but will then be damage by overload and allow the attack to damage her internal components directly.
-Cold cuts through her armor like lightning and stays in her metal like heat; the problem there is that it doesn't really hurt her. As a machine, she has very few parts that suffer from being chilled; in fact, her computer parts will run better at extremely low temperatures, making har faster and smarter! An extreme cold attack in a situation where there is misture in the air may cause her joints or internal components to lock up, but, if not sustained, she will thaw out quickly.
-Chemicals are iffy. Her metallic hull is extremely nonreactive, so it would take a weapons-grade corrosive to do her any harm.
-Explosions vary. If they're all force, they can be a problem for her. If they're more energetic, they're less of an issue.

Weak spots: RoboNega's construction is overlapping, so the inside of a joint rarely leads to her internals; it just leads to another piece of metal. With that said, joint are always a weak point for anyone, and damaging that internal metal to the point of deforming it can inhibit that joint's movement. The lens of her laser could open a channel to some more delicate parts if broken, but she would wuickly slot a new lens in to replace it.
The upper back of her torso is probably the weakest point of her body, as this is where the exhaust of her Jet Engine is. This is covered by folded metal fins and well-protected, but these thin, moving plates do not afford the same protection as her proper hull. With that said, a sshit srtaight into her back wiuld pass through a lot of empty space, with little to damage except the workings of her Jet Engine

Not a weak spot: The large turbofan on RoboNega's chest might seem like a good target, but it is often the worst place to aim an attack. Even if not powered up enough to fly, RoboNega can still spin her turbofan blades. As mentioned in their entry, these are extremely durable. Bullets, arrows, and body parts that make it through the outer grill of the turbfan will be ground up into dust and sparks and harmlessly ejected out the back. Only extremely durable materials will block her spinning blades. If something does make it past her fan, it suffers the same issue as above; there's not much in there to hit.
  • Enhanced Strength - (BASIC+)
    • Description:
As a 600-pound war robot, NegaRobo is obviously very strong. Even at her Basic establishment, she can lift, carry, and throw heavy objects weighing hundreds of pounds. As her Establishment increases, this quickly levels up to cars, then tanks, then boats, and eventually buildings. This also enables her to punch quite hard, but she is designed to use her claws, so other forms of combat are a little clumsy.
  • Free Joints; Drill Claws
    • Description:
The joints that connect RoboNega's head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, hips, knees, ankles, toes, waist, tail, and even ears have a full 360-degree range of movement. While this allows for some confusing acrobatic poses, it also makes her a frightful melee combatant. She can, for example, jump up and perform a roundhouse kick, rotating just at the waist so her vision and defenses remain on her target.

Despite her heavy metal appearance, RoboNega also boasts a feline level of flexibility.

By locking her claw into a certain position and spinning her finger, RoboNega can make a drill that can burrow through rock and some metal. By spinning all of her fingers and her wrist, she can make a much more aggressive drill. At Basic level she can do this rather freely. If she wants to do it all day, in a construction or excavation situation for example; she needs to be at least Steady Establishment.
  • All-Around Vision
    • Description:
The red aperture on the front of RoboNega's face is not her eye. She has micro-cameras mounted all throughout her body; difficult to spot even if one does know to look for them. She has several of them pointing straight forward from her head, and several more pointing straight forward from her torso, giving both of these body parts full vision with depth perception. She has single cameras mounted in other locations, giving her somewhat less precise vison in all directions.
  • Telescopic Vision
    • Description:
Unique to the cameras in her head, RoboNega can zoom in clearly on objects miles away.
  • Enhanced Senses
    • Description:
RoboNega can perceive most wavelengths of light, from microwaves to x-rays. Fortunately, she can process all of this information, and, more fortunately, she can filter what wavelengths she perceives at any given time.

Note: Just because RoboNega can 'see' x-rays, that does not mean she has traditional 'x-ray vision'. For her to be able use this to see through a body or wall, some other source would have to be generating an appropriate amount of x-rays. She prefers to see though walls by shooting holes in them.

Her hearing is also on par with a cat or even a bat; very sensitive with a broad range of frequencies.

Conversely, her sense of touch is very dull. She has no sense of smell or taste at all.

She also has a full array of other senses; barometers and Geiger counters and a compass and whatever else might be crammed into her metal skull.

She can also listen in on cell pone and radio signals, for all the good that's going to do her here.
  • Circulatory System
    • Description:
A very difficult-to-understand transport system runs all throughout RoboNega's body. This moves repair items and replacement parts from her Internal Forge to where they need to be, diamonds to storage, and ammunition to the appropriate weapons. It's not clear if these parts are moved whole, or moved in pieces that are reconstituted upon arrival, or if the entire arrangement is some sort of dimensional pocket.
  • Stealth Coat
    • Description:
RoboNega has a black coating for a reason, possibly. Like a stealth bomber, her hull absorbs radar and radio and laser wavelengths. Most modern detection systems can't pick her up. Visual detection is posible, but her small size and dark color also make that difficult.

This does not reliably protect her against magical or supernatural detection.
  • Eternal Evolution
    • Description:
Over time, RoboNega's body can develop new weapons and abilities. Sometimes it will do this on its own, sometimes she can direct it to do so. Any such changes take time and are at the discretion of the GM.
  • Secret Friendship Hug Power
    • Description:
A sincere, affectionat embrace from RoboNega can recharge or even supercharge entities who run on a similar power source to her backup battery. This could be other robots who run on an electric battery, or things like plushies animated by Animus. In circumstances where she is down and out, it is possible for this to work in reverse when someone sincerely hugs her.

This has never happened and she is entirely unaware that it is possible.
  • Applied Engineering
    • Description:
RoboNega does not do a lot of crafting, but there are times she needs to repair or modify herself faster than her systems are able, or assimilate a foreign piece of technology into herself. This gives her a working understanding of technology that is about as advanced as she is. This includes futuristic high-tech like energy weapons and spacecraft, and more common things like computers and electrical wiring.

RoboNega is unlikely to be able to build a spaceship from scratch, but if she comes upon any such technology she will probably be able to repair, modify, operate, or disable it.

She is more than capable of smaller projects, like building a computer or setting up a network of telephone lines or repairing a power grid. She has, of course, never done any such things due to having no reason to do so, but she is a capable electro/techno engineer if the skills can be coaxed out of her.

Note: Her internal forge can assist greatly with her engineering work. It is capable of spitting out moderately complex components that may not be readily available at Infinitas.

This is not what her forge is FOR, so it does not give ideal performance. It can make something like a common household electrical component in a minute or a few; if she was wiring a house, it could probably keep up with how fast she works. If she was building a computer; the components there are more complex and she needs more of them; the forge would not be able to work as fast as she can, and she would have several minutes to kill between each one.
Something that requires a lot of precious (by Earth standards) metals, like a processor laced with gold, could take hours or days to 'cook' in her forge. During this time, the forge would be unavailable for other purposes, such as repair or ammunition.
Any use of her forge drains at her diamond supply, which she is loathe to do without good reason.
  • Working with her Hands
    • Description:
RoboNega's bare hands can emulate almost any common tool, to various degrees. Extremely strong, with sharp metal claws and finger joints that bend and rotate as they please, she can do general crafting and repairs to structures, computers, vehicles, etc. without the aid of outside tools. The super-sharp tip of a claw can fit into a tiny eyeglass screw, to loosen or tighten it; with the correct claw she can work with most screws. She can hammer nails in with her knuckle or pull them out with her claws; her hands can replicate the function of wire cutters, pliers, clamps, wrenches, ratchets - most normal tools with the exception of a drill. She can only drill a hole the diameter of whatever claw she is using, which is usually too big for most applications. The making of holes is usually addressed by her laser, which can reduce its diameter down to a pinprick.

Tool use is limited as logical based on the fact that it is just her hand. For example, she can't drill a 10-inch-deep hole with a 4-inch-long finger.
  • Menacing Aura
    • Description:
By her design, demeanor, and her very concept, RoboNega is an intimidating presence. Partly natural, partly not, her presence feels heavy and threatening - often even if an individual does not know she is there. While this will not make most people run away screaming, the majority of normal individuals will instantly perceive her as a considerable threat and behave correspondingly; for most people, this means trying to appease her within reason. More powerful individuals are less affected by this; the less of a potential threat she is to an individual, the less the person is intimidated.
Creatures who do not feel fear, have defenses against fearful things, or are truly innocent, may be unaffected. Sycophants or traumatized individuals may be attracted to the power the aura suggets.
Note: This applies to NPCs, and is not intended to force player characters to behave in any certain way.
Language
  • RoboNega normally converses in English, but she speaks all the major modern Earthly languages.
Parnormal Abilities
Persistent Powers (TF) (Edit)
  • Description:
If RoboNega gets transformed into another form, she may retain all or some of her abilities, or retain them in an altered form. She'll generally have to have some appropriate part to use a given power. For example, if she got turned into a normal organic catgirl, she would be able to shoot her lasers out of her eyes, and be able to fly with anti-gravity because that part is internal. Her internal forge would probably bleed some material put through her skin to make some clothing for her, and this may make a place to build some of her ammunition-based attacks, but she's probably not using knives or rockets or bullets until this happens. She would not be able to use her free joints, but would retain her super strength. It is unlikely she would be able to spin her tits fast enough to emulate her jet engine & I prefer not to think about where the exhaust would come out since there is no opening on her back. During this time she would run on food instead of diamonds.

Healing, flight, and super strength will likely work in any form, but the GM may deny her any powers they feel do not work with the new form or the source of the transformation.
  • Limits:
Limited by body shape, logic, and GM.
  • Repercussions:
New forms will likely have new abilities, in her case an organic form would provide her with taste and smell and a better sense of touch. It may provider with certain... body parts she currently does not have, and may come to appreciate having. This could be problematic when she changes back.
Extra Information
Ascientfic
The word 'ascientific' is not a typo. It means that some functions of RoboNega's existence simply do not make sense. How does her forge turn diamonds from her reactor into machine oil? It just does - there's some missing step in the process where the universe just shrugs it shoulders and moves on.

A passable way to put it would be - RoboNega, and all Negas, are essentially their own self-contained alternate reality. They exist less as a real, functional object and more of the physical expression of a concept; a concept that is a mocking mirror of another concept. Physics and logic work differently for them, as needed. RoboNega, for example, is the reverse image of a friendly, helpful, low-powered police robot that runs on geokinetic energy. This makes her an unfettered war machine capable of excessive force, that roundabout runs on coal. How does her reactor turn diamonds into energy and matter? It just does, because it makes sense for her.
Roleplay Notes
RoboNega is a bit of a blank slate in her own identity. She has never had much impetus to think about what she is, why she exists, and why she should continue to do so; at the start of her Infintas story, she is a creature that exists only to persist. Infinitas puts her in an absence of the few thing that drive her; diamonds to be taken, heroes to stop her, and villains to manipulate her. For the first time since she sprung fully-formed into existence, she is going to have a lot of free time. She has enough personality that simply sitting around till it is time to refuel doesn't suit her, so she is going to have to eventually delve into things such as relationships and hobbies; trivial to her now, but eventually giving her a true reason to persist.
