MacLaren comes from the world of the Post-Apocalyptic LARP Dystopia Rising. In this world, humanity as we know it died off generations ago from a mysterious infection that the humans tried to fend off with nukes. Depending on the means in which people survived and radiation from the bombs, the coming generations would begin to adapt to their surroundings. (For Example: Iron Slaves are humans who were forced into slavery after the fall of humanity and developed their red glow from working in the pitch black mines.) What we know as race faded away and was replaced by the strains of humanity. Their no longer was White, Black, Asian etc. It was now separated by how you evolved: Iron Slave, Lascarian, Salt Wise etc. The world is now plagued by the Undead with settlements across the globe fighting to survive.

Transcribed documents and blueprints for personal use and for the army he was a part of

MacLaren was born into gang in what was known as Old York. He lived with his parents in this gang until he was 17. The gang was attacked by a group of people working for a Pure Blood (Wealthy un-mutated human) slaver known simply as The Chairman. The gang along with his parents got away but Maclaren was abducted. He was forced to maintain the Chairman's library where he gained a fondness to the works of Edgar Allen Poe, his favorite being The Raven. Never having a full name he took it upon himself to take up the last name Ravenheart. A few years went by and The Chairman had amassed 300 Iron Slaves. He put his numbers to good use and formed an army from them that was known as The Glowing 300. Not having much skill in combat besides knowing how to use a revolver, MacLaren was inducted into the army has it's head Printer (Someone who can Transcribe documents and blueprints) being that he was one of the only few in the The Glowing 300 that could read and write. After working as an army for several months an attack was staged against the Chairman known as The Exodus. Roughly 200 members of the army died in the attack. Those who survived escaped out into the wasteand. A handful of them including MacLaren regrouped in a settlement known as Hayven (Northern New Jersey) where they've been survivng together ever since.
