| Recently, a large vessel identical to the SS Marengo has been reported sailing near the island's fog boundary. However, the ship itself is still being repaired in a drydock. This other ship has been noted to sail out of the fog full of passengers, speed up, blow its horn, and disappear back into the fog in a manner of minutes. The ship also bears the name Marengo. The ship's master, Sig Johannson, could not offer any explanation for the apparition, and insists his ship is not seaworthy, and will not be for a little while longer. In the meantime, the MAF has been alerted to this strange phenomenon. | |
